The celebration to end the 2022 Mardi Gras season occurred Saturday, April 30 at The Empty Nest Bar and Grill in Molino. Bill and Landi live there, and with an abundance of food, libations, laughter, music and dancing the end of the Mardi Gras season was celebrated in grand style.
The Empty Nest is renowned for it’s few rules and caveats.
As at most Krewe events, attendance was very good and very enthusiastic.
In addition of a good krewe representation, there was music…..
And there seems to have been some barbeque and liquor involved…….
Fun and games broke out all over the place. Event the trio of hounds (Dixie, Maggie and Shithead) enjoyed the festivities.
All said, the event ended fairly early, and all participants appear to have emerged from Mardi Gras 2022 free of liver damage and energized for the next year in the grand parade of life.
The Krewe of Blues begins an new year of preparation, practice and anticipation for the next Mardi Gras season with vigor, smiles, laughter, dancing and a fair amount of alcohol. Join us for more adventures!
