This Saturday, October 29th, is the big day for Making Strides against Breast Cancer! Pensacola comes out to raise awareness that we are battling this terrible disease day and night, all year, every year. We take this one day to come together and walk a 5k while sporting all manner of ridiculous pink attire, laughing and letting this horrid disease know that we do not give in to it. We will not cower before it. We join hands, laugh and strut our stuff and count our blessings each and every single day, rain or shine, hell or high water.
If at all possible, join us at Seville Square at 8:00AM. Even if you don’t walk, come and enjoy a wonderful morning with survivors and supporters. The Krewe of Blues commissioned a special Making Strides Against Breast Cancer pin that will be available for purchase on Saturday. 100% of the profits from the sale of the pins will go to Making Strides Against Breast Cancer (The American Cancer Society).
