The Krewe of Blues SNL Ball was a huge success. All those that attended had a great time and those that missed it…well they definitely missed out. Many krewes were represented at the ball: Krewe of Cheers, Krewe of Priscus, Krewe of Airship Pirates, Krewe of Daisy Dukes, Krewe of Seville, Krewe of Karnaval, Krewe of Lafitte, Krewe of Swat and Krewe of Aphrodite.
The costumes were epic and there were even a few funny skits. The Krewe of Cheers took First Place in Skits and won a tent spot at the 2024 Pin and Bead Festival. Sloppy Joe and Lunch Lady took First Place, Wild and Crazy Guy and Roseanne Roseannadanna took Second Place and Samurai took Third Place in the Costume Contest, well done all!
Some of the various krewe members may have had a little more fun than others. It wouldn’t be a Pensacola Krewe event without some shenanigans. Let’s just say a few items may have found a new temporary home. While some of those items are just “staple” appropriation, others are being held for ransom! All in good fun while building krewe relationships to make being in a Mardi Gras Krewe in Pensacola an awesome experience! Thank you to all that attended, we couldn’t do it with out you!
